Team Series Recap

As CrossFit Affiliate owners, we are always trying our best to create the best atmosphere and community that we can for our members. We pride ourselves on not only providing a workout to our athletes, but creating a better quality of life. We want our athletes to enjoy their time with us more than anything else.

Last month, the CrossFit Team Series took place, and we couldn’t be more proud of the camaraderie and support from everyone who participated. This year featured two weeks of competition, with four workouts to be completed each week. Now this may seem like a pretty simple task, but trying to find the time for four teammates to come workout together multiple times in a weekend proved to be more challenging than anticipated. With kids Fall sports, family obligations, and other commitments, our athletes had to work out at the crack of dawn or late at night. With all that being said, there were no complaints from the athletes. Everyone was just happy to be part of a team and participating in a fun online competition!

Last year, we had 3 teams compete in this online competition, with two of the teams being made up of coaches. This year, we are proud to announce that we had 9 teams competing! It was such an awesome showing by CFS. The workouts proved to be extremely challenging this year with lots of planning and strategy going into each one. It was great to see our athletes challenging themselves to try to accomplish things they haven’t done before. The beautiful thing about team workouts is that you will push yourself further and harder than you will when doing an individual workout. Because of this, we saw many personal records and outstanding efforts on all of the workouts.

Congratulations to all of the teams that competed this year! We are very proud of you for not only completing the workouts, but for being a huge part of this community. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the teams working out. Day in and day out you all remind us why we love what we are doing. You are all what makes CFS a better place to train at. Thank you for everything you all do!
